Artist Statement

I create photographs to convey what I “see” as I encounter a scene or objects in nature. Sometimes we look at things too broadly and miss the details. Lately, I have found myself photographing stones and rocks, captivated by their formations and groupings. I am fascinated by the intricate designs I observe on their surfaces. Through my photography, my aim is to share my experience, encouraging others to look more closely at the world around them.
